Rooted in love
Tim grew up on a farm just east of St. Joseph, Missouri. Since then farming has led him around the world and back in his work with an international humanitarian aid organization. He is excited to be able to breathe life back into his maternal grandfather’s original home place just a mile south of where he grew up. Growing cut flowers has been nothing less than a challenge but his desire to develop a palette for his wife, Lynn to create something beautiful, and watching his kids enjoy some of his favorite pastimes, keeps him going.
Lynn is the daughter of two farm kids that grew up in the country side of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. She was born and raised in Hannibal but fondly remembers her visits to her grandparent’s farm. She is honored to be entrusted the legacy of Tim’s family’s homestead. She has always been a creative, primarily doing costume and clothing design; but working with the flowers feels like God’s way of taking her desire to create and bringing her closer to His creation.
Stella is the one who made Tim and Lynn parents. She delights everyone who meets her and is always eager to make a friend. She loves to care for animals and can’t wait for more to be added to the farm. For now, she stays busy chasing kittens, making mud pies, reading books, and loving on the family dog, Gus.
Bennett is a climber, treasure hunter, and seems to be a budding engineer. His big brown eyes help to keep him out of trouble and his inquisitive questions make him smarter every day. With Bennett around, the family is always on their toes.
Joy is the oldest, & the third child. After a four year wait, she joined the family and in late 2015; they met her in south west Uganda. She officially came home in the spring of 2016 and has added so much depth and actual joy to the family. She loves music and dancing and her giggle is infectious.
Everett is the newest addition. His easy smile and adorable pout adds so much happiness to all of their lives. He loves to give hugs, ride on tractors, and chase around the farm cats. He is constantly amazing us with all that he understands and is learning quickly how to wrap everyone around his little finger!
